Homebuyer Education

Homebuyers receiving a $10,500 Project Reinvest Polk County down payment assistance loan must attend eight (8) hours of homebuyer education prior to the loan closing. The classes are free and provided by our approved education partner, HOME, Inc. Homebuyers may receive the homebuyer education either in a classroom setting or via an on-line course. Upon successful completion of either class, you must present the four certificates from the classroom series or the on-line certificate to your lender prior to closing your mortgage loan.
